Year: 1972-1973

Developed as a homologation special based on the 911S, the RS had a 2681cc engine that developed 210bhp. The body was lightened and fitted with flared rear arches and an optional ducktail spoiler, and the suspension uprated. The RS Sport was ultra-light, while the Touring retained some creature comforts. 1580 2.7 RS cars were built.
